13 Monitoring of external factors such as REF, Government policy, funding agency changes, economic factors Developing and maintaining relationships with external agencies, such as funders, other HEIs, government organisations, businesses etc. Translating new agendas, such as Impact, into policy and practice Development and implementation of the University Research Strategy Development of policies to support good research integrity (ethics, codes of conduct) Promotion and assistance with Athena Swan and Concordat Provision of management information for monitoring and benchmarking purposes Monitoring of Departmental and Research Centre performance, and promoting best practice Actively promoting ‘joined up’ support service provision!
