State Reporting Updates in PS7 State reporting updates for PS7 are delivered via an installer on PowerSource.PowerSource – Support/Downloads/PowerSchool/State Reporting Installers/PowerSchool 7.x State and Provincial Reporting Installers Follow installation instructions on PowerSource. State reporting auto updates for PowerSchool 6.x will be discontinued at the end of this month.

Teacher Logins Not Working If teachers have more than one PowerTeacher account (active or inactive) and those accounts have the same username, PowerSchool will append a “1” to the end of the newest username (e.g., calbright1) Also applies to admin accounts If you have not upgraded yet, you may want to clear usernames from inactive teacher accounts to prevent this.

34. Passwords are now “CaSe-SeNsItIvE” All PowerSchool passwords are case-sensitive in PowerSchool 7. – Parent/Student – Teacher – Admin

35. Importing into Teachers table Known Issue… When updating a Teachers record via Quick Import, and that teacher has already customized their own password, PowerSchool will revert the user back to their previous password even if the password isn’t contained in the import file
