Chess Review, May 10, 2004 3 Model Structure Sensors are modeled by actor components, can be defined using Java code or hierarchical Ptolemy models. Channel models handle communication between the actors Sophisticated channel components can be developed to model package loss, propagation delay, power loss, terrain effects etc. WirelessDirector mediates the model execution Support visual representations of sensor nodes and animation of sensing, node mobility, etc
