4 BUT! Maxwell showed that light also works as a particle with his work in the field of electro magnetism. – That shows that light consists of both waves and particles which we call photons. Because you can give an electron more energy by adding the photon.

5 Discussion 2 The nature of white light and the way in which colors resulted from the refraction of white light. – Hooke says all light can be made out of blue and red, but you never can make green or white. – Newton says all colors combined together becomes white light.
