11 Control in the Field When developing HSE the Flexible Function Block (FFB) was also created –Two Flavors Multiple I/O – 8 signals sent as one packet Flexible – FULLY user configurable and programmable using IEC standard languages FFB can be programmed by End User or Manufacturer to perform ANY calculation they wish
