To describe how British caused the establishment of the Labour Party in Malta. LP

Including; riots in Malta, the establishment of Labour Party,its victory. Excluding; events after Labour Party won the election. LP

The First World War effected Malta very much and riots broke out in Malta in 1919.riots ? ?? ? 1919

Due to these riots, British sent soldiers and some Maltese people killed by British troops... FREEDOM FREEDOM

Additionally, Malta was granted an internal self- government by the British including Legislative Assembly and Senate. Assembly Senate L. ASSEMBLY SENATE

In return, some leaders of small unions in naval dockyard decided to set up ‘Labour Party’.naval dockyard LP

Labour Party was working for workers and planning to improve workers’ social and economical conditions. LP $

For this aim, Labour Party determined its goals; education, workers’ protection and minimum conditions of work. LP

Finally, Labour Party gained a victory in the elections in 1927 and reached its aims. 1927 LP

Thanks to this victory, Labour Party was able to obtain some rights for the workers.
