What is MBooks? - A partnership with Google to scan everything in the University Library. Note: You will see not see the Google logo in the Mirlyn record. Most MBooks can’t be read online because.. Most are under copyright. Some publishers argue that no formatting changes – including digitization – can be made to copyrighted material without publishers ’ consent. The question is now a legal matter. Until it is resolved, full text of many items is not available. But, you can still search the full text for keywords.

All MBooks – both full text & restricted – are listed as electronic resources in Mirlyn. Generally, only MBooks published before 1924 will have full text available online. Digitization continues; Not all items are yet MBooks.
