The new DECT handsets are designed to perform today and tomorrow. The Ascom d41 is a low cost, high quality handset targeted towards users in office, retail or school segment with a need for a telephone with high quality voice and easy access to PBX feature codes. The Ascom d62 meets the needs of hospitals, secure establishments or light industrial facilities. Quite simply, a telephone that takes care of your advanced communication requirements and offers safety features that can ensure a minor occurrence doesn’t become a major event. 7 ASCOM d62 – DESIGNED TO GROW AND INTEGRATE
Available in a number of license dependent main models – from a quality telephone (Talker) to a professional messaging device (Messenger) and advanced personal alarm handset (Protector) The handset is water and disinfectant resistant (IP44) A handset that simplifies complex features through an intuitive user interface and large colour display. Easily controlled keys including a smart 4-way navigation key, mean making and taking calls is easier and more logical. The handset is water and disinfectant resistant (IP44). Users have direct access to a central phonebook and PBX feature codes are accessible via the intuitive menu. The unit’s soft keys facilitate all this comfortably. The d62 is available in a number of license dependent main models – from a basic telephone (Talker) to an advanced personal alarm and professional messaging device (Protector). When an incident occurs, a message is sent to the people that need to be notified and they are automatically connected to a conference call. Supported in M3 Presentation Name Month Year

45 ESCALATION When an unplanned stoppage occurs the Ascom system will immediately notify one or several operators via their handsets. When an operator has acknowledged the message, the other will be informed of who is responsible. If nobody acknowledges, the call will be escalated to the manager. The notified operator checks the cause of the stoppage and decides what measures to take. If necessary the operator will notify the appropriate people via a preset menu in his handset. Action is taken If the machine is not up and running within a predefined time an alarm is automatically sent to the manager from the Ascom system.
