Budget Update Department continues to run substantially better than budget for AY 11 Evans Endowment benefiting from rise in equity market BMC had a profitable month in March due to expense reduction, a modest increase in reimbursement rates, and volume increases in the outpatient clinics Higher commercial rates for some insurers Planning for department’s AY 12 budget ongoing- we are projecting a $5.9 m deficit Plans for a 2% salary increase ($4K cap) for FPP faculty in the department
