Software that delivers (or serves) web-pages with content to users from a web server over the Internet (or an intranet). Dynamic means capable of action and/or change. Opposite of this is a static website which would imply the content is fixed.

Make sure space issues do not derail your collection down the line. Use SANs. If you do own your hardware (servers, etc.), make sure that it is extensible for future growth. If you are the curator of a collection, then you should not be the one worrying about hardware issues.
