1 Compressing PowerPoint Presentations When we add pictures to PowerPoint presentations we can end up with very large files. We can compress these pictures easily to reduce the file size considerably without reducing picture quality too much. I have compressed many presentations and the quality has not been affected when displaying on a large projection screens. Continue to Instructions

2 Instructions For Picture Compression Select a slide with a picture and right click on the picture Select “Format Picture”

3 Now click on the “Compress” command button.

4 Set the “Check” and Option Boxes to the values shown Click Ok and then OK

5 Save the document (Remember to change the name if you wish to keep the original in its current format) The Original size of this document was 1,084 Kbytes (1.1Megabytes) After compression it is now 471Kbytes (0.5 Megabytes) The larger the presentation the greater the savings Any Problems?
