4. Placement uncertainty Effect of placement of ROI gives about 3% uncertainty in average intensity Uncertainty due to noise ~8% Add in quadrature – Sqrt(0.08^2+0.03^2) = 0.085 or 8.5%

5. Overall effect on set 1 and set 2 numbers Previous uncertainty in ADC value – Set 1 – 7.5% – Set 2 – 21.0% Considering 3% uncertainty due to ROI placement – Set 1 – 8.1% – Set 2 – 21.3%
