Open Transport Network (OTN) is a fiber optics based multiplexer for voice, data, video and LAN applications OTN provides pre-allocated services for applications OTN is a distributed system allowing dynamic switching for video and audio OTN has built-in redundancy OTN is not a bandwidth on demand, but dedicated bandwidth at all times regards of system loading.
