Flexible packaging File 2 Planning for the ERP processes PPC Cycle Part 2 : Job Card and Job Card Approval

Now, Planning dept, start with Sales order received SO CheckingSO Approval Specification Sheet Create Job Card Job Card Approval

Let us start Let’s Go to “Manufacturing Menu” for Production Planning and Control

Select PPC Menu

Job Order creation First Step  Make Delivery Plan & Job card for start any production Select Party  Select Item  Select Category if you want to “Filter” to the focussed Sales order Job Order creation So, I want to make a Job Card I will see the Pending Sales orders for which Job Cards are not yet made

You can further filter – which period ? Dates ? This filter helps me avoid seeing old orders when I want to see only the latest / Today’s order….. And Vice Versa, Plan for a customer, an item or a category of orders

Select the sale order you want to view  Pending or All

Pending Sales orders / Delivery Instructions for which Job Cards are not yet made

Alert Message : only if, you have not made the process plan already If Process plan is not available for your selected job then first you have to make a process plan to proceed for Job card.. So go to Engineering & Planning  Process Plan

As Process Plan was not available for the Job, first we have to make Process plan then create Job Order

Now, Marketing Dept will “Making a Specification Sheet” Sale Order + Schedule Specification Sheet Machine Linking Create Job Card Job Card Approval WIP – Printing WIP- Lamination WIP- Slitting WIP- Pouching Production RG-1 Despatch Advice Invoice

Sales & marketing  order & schedule -  specification sheet

Fill the desired column – Printing Type, Coil Size, Total GSM, Circumference, Whether it is Roll Form delivery or Pouch Form… etc Select the Customer And FG to produce

Pet Film ( Polyester Film was first to be planned ) Next we start the Lamination

Also shows the information for the Slitting and Pouching, ( This may be skipped in case of Laminate Rolls )

Standard wastage % helps to get information, amount of “Allowed” Extra Raw Material to be issued in production process

Process Mapping Telling the ERP, the stages required in the manufacture of this product Right from Printing  lamination  Slitting  Pouching

If you want to use your Machines and Manpower More efficiently You must know how much time the production needs ?

Next : Planning Dept does the Stage Linking / “Machine Linking” Sale Order + Schedule Specification Sheet Machine Linking Create Job Card Job Card Approval WIP – Printing WIP- Lamination WIP- Slitting WIP- Pouching Production RG-1 Despatch Advice Invoice

See the Machine Set up Time And Production Time 300 mm, is the final Coil Width

Which Machine ? Suppose you have 2 Pouching Machines, so, Pouching should be on which machine ?

We select stages, set up time, production time per lot, and machine on which we have to run the process and what should be the approx GSM at that stage. How Stages are linked ? Now your process plan is ready.. You have to followed these step to complete this job… Now Go back to Job Card Creation Time is Minutes, per LOT For Printing to Slitting = Per 1000 metres For Pouching = Per 1000 Nos

We are Ready. Back to “Job Card”

Process Plan = Ready ( one time, life time for each product ) ========================= Job Card = now can be made “Very Fast” Lets quickly make the Job Card + approve it
