2 Previous Plan (2010-2013) EMWA is the network of professionals that represents, supports and trains medical communicators in Europe ACTIONS Promote the added value of professional medical writing Influence press coverage of the profession Increase the perception of medical writing qualifications Develop links with related professional organisations Further the profession ACTIONS Increase and communicate value for current members and attract experienced members Diversify the membership base by discipline and geography Introduce new membership categories Grow Membership ACTIONS Set and achieve financial benchmarks Ensure effective governance and implementation Define EMWA volunteer roles and responsibilities Recruit and reward volunteer involvement Develop vehicles for communication Build the Association ACTIONS Diversify and expand the education programme Develop learning formats Improve accessibility to expertise and knowledge base Encourage communities of shared interest Share expertise
