Finishing up at BCI. n Do you have what you need to graduate? n Community service hours –Deadline June 30 th n Must attend Grad meeting!!! April 28 th. All students that intend on graduating need to be there. n Grad letters, commencement forms, award applications, gown sizing – all done there n Did you know…only 1 diploma can ever be issued so keep it safe n Purchase a grad photo package and get nice portfolio and composite pic at Grad ceremony 7/2/2015

University Application Info n Deadline: January 14, 2015 n Apply online at the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre www.ouac.on.ca n $140 for 3 choices, $47 for each additional choice **To apply out of province, contact the desired university directly to get application directions and address for Guidance to send transcripts

n GEDSB has new student information system. n We want to ensure that your information gets transferred to OCAS and OUAC n College bound students -once you have applied, please come to guidance and sign the sheet indicated that you have applied n University bound students – when you return in January, check your biographic data, any gr 11 or 12 marks, and that the correct sem1 and sem2 courses are present. n If not, see Mrs. Schott in guidance ASAP Important for students applying to college or university!!!

Take in the summer between 12 and 12+ n February -Career Cruising -choose 6 courses -we don’t know which semester each class will happen n need 3 courses a semester to be considered fulltime n If decide in June not returning…let us know! 7/2/2015 BCI Alumni Association Scholarships n Available to ALL full-time students in their graduating year n Students must be registered in six senior courses in their graduating year to be eligible for the award(s). n Students enrolled in French Immersion and Laurier may include program specific courses that were offered in Year 3 in their best six subjects.

7/2/2015 BCI Alumni Association Scholarships n based on the average of the best 6 subjects taken in their graduating year. n any level – U, C or O! n Not a competition. Anyone who applies and had the marks, gets the money n 80-84.5% =$150 n 85-89.9% =$250 + certificate n 90+% = $500 + certificate n Applications –available at grad meeting in April
