2 THE MAGIC AUDIENCE Q3 2014 Magic reaches 1.96 million listeners every week. Magic listeners tune in for a total of 10.4 million hours every week. Magic has a share of 5.1%. Magic is commercial market leader amongst Adults 25+ for reach, with 1.7 million listeners tuning in. 50% of Magic listeners are aged 15-44 and 50% aged 45+ 58% of Magic listeners don’t listen to Heart or Capital. The average age of a Magic listener is 44. Magic 105.4 reaches 2.9 million listeners across the UK by other platforms such as Sky and Freeview. 3 PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS Magic in the Morning reaches 781,000 listeners and has an audience share of 4.6%, between 0600-1000. More Music Drivetime with Nick Snaith reaches 615,000 and has a 4.3% market share on weekdays at 1700-2000. Gary Vincent is commercial number one in hours with 857,000 listeners tuning in for 2.1m hours each week and a share of 5.1% between 1000-1400. Angie Greaves attracts 659,000 between 1400-1700, pulling in a commercial market leading share of 5.9%. Mellow Magic is the number 1 commercial music show every evening for reach and share. Denise van Outen has 146,000 listeners every Saturday 1300-1500 and is commercial number 1 in hours and share for Adults 25+, with 5.3% share. Kim Wilde is commercial number one with 346,000 listeners between 1000-1400 on Sundays, and a market share of 7.1%. Rick Astley draws 160,000 each week and is commercial number 1 with a 7.0% share.
