6. B. Brigham Young 1. Became leader of the Mormons and planned their trip to Utah.

7. C. The Mormon Trail 1. Went from Nauvoo to Salt Lake City. It paralleled the Oregon Trail.

9. D. Eastern vs. Western Water Rights 1. East - Landowners must maintain a free flow of water downstream. You could not increase or decrease the flow of water. Example: Mill pond
