7. EXAMPLE Socially, religion was important to Europe throughout the time period while the political and economic changes helped usher in the new era of the Renaissance. ORGANIZE BY THEMES: Social/Relgion, Politics and economics – within each there could be continuity or change

8. YOU ONLY NEED TO SHOW ONE CONTINUITYAND ONE CHANGE NOT a continuity and change for every theme/event

9. BODY PARAGRAPH TOPIC SENTENCE! (Reflects thesis and shows theme and/or continuity or change) ANALYSIS (What is the theme? How does it impact the area? Why is it important? So what?) CONTINUITY/CHANGE (Why is it a change? Why is it a continuity?) GLOBAL CONTEXT (What else is happening in the world? What other comparisons can you make to other places?)
