We are strengthening the foundation of our communities through a 24-hour crowdfunding event that provides critical funding for and celebrates the work of our community partners across the country. Local impact with a national twist

We’re partnering with area nonprofits, businesses and people like you to raise funds for local needs. WHAT IT MEANS Giving local

We’re asking every individual to contribute to the well-being of their community. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. It’s time to think big. Imagine a day where every individual is inspired to contribute to the well-being of their local community. Everyone can be a philanthropist What if every person in our community gave to support local needs?

We’re working to raise critical funds that will create a cycle of sustainable giving—right here in our hometown. Just imagine what we could do with the gifts and talents of our entire community. It’s time to be bold. What if thousands of gifts combined for local good? Local benefits lasting results

What could we accomplish if we had more resources to address local needs? It’s time to act. What if hundreds of local nonprofits could do more? Local wisdom smart investment CUSTOMIZE THIS SLIDE [Community Foundation Name]: Has worked with local nonprofits for [xx] years Benefits trusted, local organizations that are enriching our culture and solving the most critical community challenges Has professional, knowledgeable staff Helps donors designate gifts to organizations doing essential work

Choose partner spotlights that will resonate with your crowd, and try to be fair about promoting partners equally. Ask local “celebrities”—on the nonprofit or donor side—to give you these testimonials, so you can leverage their positions in the community to motivate others. (Mayors, sports stars, local personalities on tv/radio, etc.) Write the testimonials yourself, and ask your “witnesses” to give you their endorsement. CUSTOMIZE THE SPOTLIGHT SLIDES

Give them some concrete actions to consider, or plant a few ideas if you are in the cultivation stage. For example, what prize could someone underwrite? What types of in-kind support would be on your wish list? Spell out how you will thank them for contributing (edit the placeholder text).
