Look over your notes. What strategies will you try today?

5. Reflect 2. Did you read the introductions?
On the back of your test packet, reflect on your performance. Which of the testing strategies did you use? What do you wished you would have done?
Here are some points to consider as you reflect:
1. Did you go through and select a passage that interested you and start there?
2. Did you read the introductions?
3. Did you mark passages as you skimmed?
4. Did you read the questions first?
5. Did you mark out wrong answers? (process of elimination)
6. Did you leave any blank?

You may have noticed that some writers use informal spelling and usage. This practice is common in song lyrics. For example, the song “Rocky Mountain High” uses informal spelling.

Keeps changin’ fast, it don’t last for long
