My UM Portal Register for education and examinations Check your education timetable Check your study results Find manuals to setup the UM wireless connection on your laptop or smartphone How to get there: –Go to the UM website: “http://www.maastrichtuniversity.nl” “http://www.maastrichtuniversity.nl” –Go to My UM link (on the right) Click on the weblink above

This is the English version of the UM website. Click on the My UM link

You have to log in here. Type in your User ID (for example i123456) and your password. Then click on the Log on button. Click on the Log on button

The first time you log in, it is possible you see the Dutch version of the portal. You can change the language via ‘Personaliseren” >> Wijzigen >> Taal: Engels >> Opslaan

Right, here we are in your Personal My UM environment. Next to links to information and systems, like EleUM (under Quick Links) the most important part is the menu above as indicated. Click on Mytimetable

My Timetable leads you to your personal education timetable. You can use the export function to embed your timetable in outlook or your mobile device. More information is available under “help” Click on My Study to return to the main menu

By clicking on Courses in the top menu you go to the area with the functions you need to book courses! Click on the Courses link

Use course registration to book your courses for upcoming course periods. Use Academic work for an overview of your results and earned credits Use Availability to indicate your availability for evening education (default setting is that you are available for evening education).

Course Registration (Cont.) 1.Select the program of study you want to book modules for. Please note: this is a required step since many students are registered for multiple programs. 2. Select academic period. 3. Click on continue

Course Registration (Cont.) 4. Click on the Registration Cart tab. 5. A list of available modules for your study program appears. 6. To book a module, select a module by clicking on the square in front of it.

Course Registration (Cont.) 7. Click on the Register button to book the selected module(s). 8. Click on Register Selected. 9. A “Confirmation Registration” page will appear. Review your selection and, if you still want to register for the selected module(s), click the Register button. Otherwise click on the Cancel button. Detailed manuals for course and exam registration are available under “help” Your examinations will not be added to your timetable – you can find the examination schedules via EleUM a few weeks prior to the exam period. Click Help to continue A check sign in front of the module: you are registered for the examination. Un-tick the box to de-register Tick the box to register Save the changes!
