Rules Review and Team Selection
Fill out your Fantasy Talkball Draft Card – keep it confidential! Awards for MVP (most individual points) and Championship Team (roster with the most points) Strategize! If you throw the ball to the people on your card, you can increase your points. BUT, if you always throw to the same people, others may guess they are on your card and try to block you. Remember, you are on your card too—if you don’t participate, you hurt your chances of winning!

Only the person with the Talkball can address the question. The person holding the Talkball decides who will get it next by choosing a person with their hand raised. When making a special play, you must announce it by name. Only one special play per possession! New Twists: Questions will be timed; max 5 min/question! When the timer goes off, the play is dead! The class with the highest per person average will get a special bonus points on the AF test Grading: You must participate to get a grade! 4 points=C, 7 points=B, 10 points=A

When Orwell describes how the animals enter the room for Old Major’s speech and where they sit, what are some details that give us insight into the different animal’s personality and their status on the farm? Time’s Up!!!

By the end of Animal Farm, things have gone back to the way they were under Mr. Jones, if not even worse. Was there ever a moment in the book when the animals could have made a different decision and changed the course of events? Time’s Up!!!

Some critics believe that, at the end of the book, Orwell suggests that the pigs and human political leaders are interchangeable. Do you think most government rulers are interchangeable—all the same? How might power change those who have it? Time’s Up!!!
