16 Pastoral Care at BIS House System - Krakatoa, Merapi, Agung and Bromo. Each house has Captains and Vice- Captains - decided though House Elections in each year group During the year children are given the opportunity to earn points for their house teams

17 Pastoral Care at BIS Student Council Elected by peers Projects in the last academic year included promoting healthy eating, playground issues, CAS Projects and eco issues

18 Literacy at BIS Literacy is the core thread to the entire curriculum – every teacher is a literacy teacher Three interdependent strands: Writing Reading Speaking and Listening Literacy
