9  What is PARODY?  How is this satirical essay a PARODY?  What ELEMENTS OF SATIRE does the author use?  What is the TONE?

10  *While reading, mark the text to identify aspects of news shows that Barry is parodying.  Is Barry being plain silly or using biting sarcasm/criticism?  *Answer the key idea questions on a separate sheet of paper!
