12 board members who serve as representatives of substance use disorder services, 4 members are primary consumers or family members of primary consumers.

SUD Providers SUD services will be provided by: 41 treatment providers
34 prevention providers 15 coalitions 8 recovery support providers/programs 5 early intervention providers, with approximately 120 peer recovery coaches working within the DWC area 6 opiate maintenance treatment providers and nine MDCH designated Women Specialty.

Benefits of CA Consolidation
SUD prevention, treatment, coalitions and recovery will have approximately the same allocations for FY’14-’15 as in FY ’13-’14. Detroit providers can see all Wayne county clients and vice versa A single access entry point Standardized rates for SUD providers A centralized claims management system Provide and train the SUD provider network to sustain a financial business model

October 1, 2014 DWMHA will contract with all CA providers
12 month contract Fee for service- Existing providers in good standing will have their initial Block Grant Allocation DWMHA will execute prevention staffing grants and manage all Prevention contracts

October 1 – December 31, 2014 DWMHA will contract with IPH and SEMCA to manage: Eligibility determination 24 hrs/7 days Screening & access to care for SUD services Authorization & Re-authorization Level of care changes Claims management Administrative support functions Required monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting as determined by DWMHA (DWMHA will execute all contracts)

January 1, 2015 DWMHA will assume all management responsibilities for:
Eligibility determination 24 hrs /7 days a week/ 365 days a year Screening & access to care for SUD services Authorization & Re-authorization Level of care changes Claims management Administrative support functions Required monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting as determined by DWMHA

Ensuring a Smooth Transition
