Unit was created in response to a series of Presidential Executive Orders
Provide assistance to strengthen the administrative capabilities of Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISI), Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian-Serving Institutions (ANNH), Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI), Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCU), and Predominately Black Institutions (PBI)
