Programme Background (2013) Strategy document published – Ties in with Scottish Government’s Digital Public Services (DPS) agenda LG ICT Strategy Board formed Programme Management Office (PMO) set up

Programme Aims ICT Collaboration: Do it ONCE (not 32 times) to save time/effort and money Do it TOGETHER – joined up services with other sectors/partners Supporting the principles of: Reuse/share first Simplify/standardise/automate Customer driven In order to “deliver better service for communities”
