PRECONDITIONS FOR ICF IMPLEMENTATION “Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities” ratified in 2010 Draft law on “Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and social inclusion” developed Disability status determination mechanisms reviewed

WHY ICF Increase the level of objectivity in the process of defining disability Increase the efficiency and targeting of services for people with disabilities “People with disabilities should be hired not for compassionate reasons, but because they are the best candidates !

HOW WE IMPLEMENT ICF CD for specialists of the Medical and Social Expertise Agency Data collection forms based on “Delphi” selective method developed Selection of ICF codes, for disability definition: total 72 codes 6 classification forms with tools developed

NEXT STEPS Retrospective testing: current model vs ICF Analysis of results, tools & standards refined Prospective testing and thresholds testing Analyses, client satisfaction survey, nationalization Individual Rehab Plans based on ICF principles
