SIRS Indicators Organ Failure Indicator Temp < 36 C or > 38.3 C HR > 95 bpm RR > 22 br/min Glucose level > 140mg/dL AND < 200mg/dL (in absence of diabetes) WBC < 4 K/uL or > 12 K/uL Bands > 10% Lactic Acid level > 2 mmol/L Creatinine level (increase of 0.5 mg/dL over 72 hours) Total Bilirubin > 2 mg/dL AND < 10 mg/dLSBP < 90 mmHg MAP < 65 mmHg 2 SIRS + 1 Organ Failure Indicator = Sepsis Alert 3 Sirs = SIRS Alert
