STEP 1 TODAY- SHARE OUT RESEARCH Each student will have 1 minute to share the research he or she completed.

STEP 2- ORGANIZING THE RESEARCH Each student will determine which part of the binder will house each new article. Articles will be given to each specialty group for group specific work.

STEP 3- GENERATING QUESTIONS The class will brainstorm a list of alternatives to the problem. Some of these may have come from the previous research done on the problem section. Ex: One article we already had mentioned that shuttering current nuclear power production could reduce long term waste by stopping the creation of new waste.

STEP 4- GENERATING NEW QUESTIONS Students will split up into groups based on the number of alternatives brainstormed. Each group will generate questions about their assigned alternative. Each group will share out questions so that the whole class can work on adding questions and clarifying issues

GROUP DAILY REPORT QUESTIONS- CLASSWORK Which group members turned in research today? Which group members failed to turn in research today? What did each group member do today in order to get the whole group ready to present the research? Write a brief summary of your research so far. What questions did you generate? Which group members will answer which questions?

HOMEWORK Each student will be assigned at least one research question Find the answer to your question Note and PRINT the source or email it to me to be printed.
