2 NFDS Mission The mission of the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron is to showcase the pride and professionalism of the United States Navy and Marine Corps by inspiring a culture of excellence and service to country through flight demonstrations and community outreach.

25 NFDS Schedule Selection Schedule is a result of coordination between NFDS and representatives from: CNATRA CNIC CHINFO/NAVCO CNRC Naval History and Heritage Command Office of Legislative Affairs USAF Thunderbirds Schedule should satisfy all DoD and SECNAV guidelines, with special attention to NFDS training, logistics and readiness requirements.

26 Show Selection Guidelines At least 30% civilian sponsored At least 30% military sponsored Maximum 20% remote/deployed shows 2 weekend breaks No more than 15% repeat shows Reunion show – every two years Canadian demonstration encouraged
