Becoming a Veterinarian GPA: Average 3.57 GRE: 308.3 Animal/Veterinary Experience: min 500 (but depends on school) applicant have in average 3500 Recommendation letter: At least 2 from veterinarians 1 academic Check out VMCAS website for info and application Most important: Your determination and drive will get you there.

Events Info 3 week reminder: email reminding of attendance, drop deadline, and lead Week of event: email from lead with all details Carpooling: Always at PS 6 Always bring $3-4 Wear appropriate clothing APPROPRIATE ACTIONS WILL BE TAKEN IF THESE RULES ARE NOT FOLLOWED ALWAYS BE ON TIME, DO NOT CANCEL LAST MINUTE PENALTIES YOU MUST GIVE 2 WEEKS NOTICE IN ORDER TO CANCEL FOR AN EVENT YOU ARE SIGNED UP FOR CONSEQUENCES 1 st penalty: You will have to make-up the event missed 2 nd penalty: You will be considered an events member only, and will forfeit slots to all future events.

Dress Code Events ALWAYS wear club shirts ALWAYS wear pants: khakis or jeans (NEVER shorts, yoga pants, capris etc.) ALWAYS wear closed toed shoes: tennis or hiking shoes (no flats, toms, etc) Speakers ALWAYS slacks and a nice shirt NEVER jeans, tennis shoes, tshirts Fundraisers ALWAYS wear club shirts Appropriate dress code for field work is comfortable shoes, pants, and polo shirt. Appropriate dress code for interviews or speakers is business wear.
