Acceptance on first apply - first qualified basis Grade 12 Diploma Some programs have specific prerequisites e.g. math, science, university degree Academic and Career Connections: - prep year for further programs includes math, communications, sciences - can gain credits toward some college programs or university pre-requisites 2 + 2 Agreement

7 University Entrance Requirements Admission requirements vary depending on the institution. Check with each institution! Required averages usually in the range of 70% + IB has specific admission requirements. Bachelor of Arts English 12 + 4 other Grade 12 academic courses Bachelor of Commerce English 12, Math 12( in some cases Pre-Cal 12) + 3 other Grade 12 academic courses

9 How To Apply Applications are ongoing beginning in semester 1 using Grade 11 marks. Apply online or in person at specific institutions. All applications have a fee; however, some institutions waive this fee if you apply during an Open House. 10 Scholarships and Bursaries Most universities have automatic entrance scholarships based on average. Usually 80%+ Check PAH Student Services/Guidance Website Listen to announcements Surf the net - Register on www.studentawards.com www.studentawards.com & www.scholarshipscanada.comwww.scholarshipscanada.com Ask at work, religious institutions, community organizations etc. School funds distributed at graduation -Submit green student information sheets.
