1
When I Grow Up When I grow up, what should I be?
What could I be? Now let me see!
2
I could be a doctor, make everyone well,
Or teach the whole world how to read, write, and spell. I could feed the animals down at the zoo, Peanuts and popcorn and lollipops, too.
3
When I grow up, what should I be? What could I be? Now let me see!
4
I could be an actor and take a big bow,
Or maybe a farmer and I’d milk a cow. I could be a pilot and fly in the sky, Or be a great cook and make puddings and pie.
5
When I grow up, what should I be? What could I be? Now let me see!
6
If I were a cowboy, I’d rope in a calf,
Or maybe join the circus and make children laugh. If I were a drummer I’d rap a tap tap, Or fly through the air, like a great acrobat.
7
When I grow up, what should I be? What could I be? Now let me see!
When I grow up, I’ll try to be Anything that I want to be!
