Mother Tongue Language Home Support & Monitoring Encourage usage of good phrases (constant reminders when child is writing compositions at home) Discuss with your child how the last picture can be interpreted creatively Expose child to various reading materials (improves vocabulary) Remind child to check the marks allocated to each question and write appropriately

Mother Tongue Language Home Support & Monitoring Child should allocate time for each question Remind child not to lift sentences directly from the passages Encourage your child to read the passages several times to gain better understanding Draw them into discussions pertaining to school happenings, current events, friends.
