Joining Instructions Overview They can be found on the squadron website: www.759aircadet.cawww.759aircadet.ca – under resources www.759aircadet.ca Are designed as a directional tool to ensure that yourself and your cadet/child is properly prepared for Summer Camp and understand the regulations that are in place throughout the summer; It is vital that they are reviewed and understood, officer staff will be happy to answer any questions. Itineraries Over 3000 Air Cadets will moved throughout the country over this summer; It is critical to ensure that your child arrives at the correct time, as well that they are picked up at the correct time; As there is no longer the CF-51 form either parent can pick-up the cadet from the airport; If you wish to pick-up or drop off your cadet at the Summer Training Centre please speak to the staff this evening as further paperwork required. Process for Receiving Itineraries Some people will receive their orders tonight If not: –Summer Contact Officer will receive the orders and forward them to you once he/she receives them. –You may be required to meet the Summer Contact Officer –Ensure the Summer Contact Officer has an up to date email address for you! Transport Requirements Cadets 12-15 years of age MUST have 1 piece of government issued photo ID or 2 pieces of non-photo issued government ID and their BC medical Care Card; Cadets 16 years or older MUST have 1 piece of government issued photo ID and their BC medical Care Card; Cadets will travel in C-2 dress; When picking children up, parents MUST have government issued photo ID. Spare List Once a spot becomes available the Summer Contact Officer, will contact you directly to confirm if you are available for the given dates. Please note if you receive a message from the Summer Contact Officer there maybe less than 24hours to respond to Headquarters, so please contact back ASAP. Capt Welsh

Finance at Camp Each cadet will have a bank account set up for them at the Summer Training Center; Each cadet will receive an allowance of $60/week; Do NOT bring large amounts of money with you to the summer camp. Capt Welsh

Security The bases are secured by Commissionaires as well as Canadian Forces Officer conducting patrols day and night, seven days a week; Cadets will not be permitted to leave the base, except for Staff Cadets; Make sure to bring a combination lock for your locker. Capt Welsh

Summer Camp Staff Summer Camps are staffed by Canadian Forces personnel and senior cadets from across Canada; The cadets will be instructed and supervised by these Officers and Cadets throughout the summer. Capt Welsh

Summer Contact Mailing, as listed in the Joining Instructions –Please note that all packages will be opened and inspected at the training facility. Emergency Phone numbers can be found in the joining instructions. Capt Welsh
