11 VALiD Aims of the Families Course For Families and Supporters to think about what their ‘role’ is Refresh or learn new skills Build a network of support Learn about new things in the system - Planning - Individualised support - The NDIS

13 VALiD What, where & when? Usually six sessions over 6 weeks 3 - 4 hours for a session Usually from 9.30am –2pm Venues – in local areas
