Wards - 2 x 20 bedded wards which includes 6 Ministry of Defence (MOD) beds - 1 x 13 bedded adult Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) OT Capacity : - 1 Band 7 (22.5hrs) - 1 Band 6 - 2 Full time Band 5’s - 1 Band 4 (18 hrs)

Term “creative” refers to the person’s ability to grow or change, does not refer to their artistic flair What motivates an individual. Understanding their actions/ behaviours Determines their overall ability i.e. the level are they able to engage in an activity. There are 9 levels but we use 5 levels on the inpatient wards.

Blanket referral Set up group programme Anyone could attend Motivated patients, willing to engage Groups to meet all needs, no psycho- educational groups 1-1community assessments/interventions Core OT skills eg home visits, functional assessments

Training in the model Visit to Centre of Excellence Proposal for PICU Levels established of patients Initial interview based on Vdt MOCA Establishing protocols / levels / resources on Cookery / Art Presentation and delivered to staff
