2. JAVIER IGLESIAS We are going to explain the Earth´s Rotation and the Earth´s Revolution. THE EARTH´S ROTATION The Earth rotates around its axis. This is called the EARTH´S ROTATION. One rotation takes 24 hours and this is called THE MEAN SOLAR DAY. JAVIER DE LAS HERAS When one side of the Planet has day, the opposite side has night. Day and night are caused by the Rotation. EDUARDO S Á NCHEZ When we are facing the Sun, this is called DAYTIME and when we are facing away from the Sun, this is called NIGHT- TIME.

3. THE EARTH´S REVOLUTION PAULA BUSTOS The Earth´s orbit around the Sun is called THE EARTH´S REVOLUTION. It takes 365 days to complete one orbit. This is called ONE FULL YEAR. The Earth´s orbit is not circular, it is elliptical. DIANA S Á NCHEZ There are four seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. The seasons are caused by the inclination of the Earth´s axis.
