copyright@Ed2netLearning,Inc1 EXPLORING PROBABILITY GRADE 3
2
copyright@Ed2netLearning,Inc2 Hello, How are you? Today, we are going to start a new lesson.
3
copyright@Ed2netLearning,Inc3 Probability The chances that an event will occur is called Probability. Example – There are 4 red pens in a bag. The probability of picking a pen is certain.
4
copyright@Ed2netLearning,Inc4 Possible Outcomes Any of the results that could occur in an experiment is Possible Outcome. Example – Heads and tails are the possible outcomes when flipping a coin.
5
copyright@Ed2netLearning,Inc5 Certain and Impossible There are 6 yellow marbles and 1 black marble in the box. Lisa picks one marble from the box. It is certain that Lisa will pick a marble. There are only marbles in the box. It is impossible that Lisa will pick a green marble. None of the marbles are green.
