Pure are a Platinum Vodafone reseller who have historically specialised in mobile contracts for small and medium sized businesses. As part of their strengthening relationship with Vodafone, Pure are set to migrate a large broadband estate onto the Vodafone network in quarter one 2015. The capability of the CloudKeeper software to control a router remotely via TR069 was an instrumental to this decision as later on this year Vodafone will be moving its DSL customers to a new platform. Using CloudKeeper’s straightforward migration capabilities Pure can minimise the impact on its customer base and reduce hardware costs in the process. The solution itself will include the full replacement of routers in the field with Zyxel AMG1302T10B, provision of the CloudKeeper software including order manager, full roll out of the TR069 suite, router configuration and router dispatch. Zyxel was the CPE of choice due to its full interoperability with CloudKeeper and the ability to control both factory and operating configuration remotely via TR069. With this level of control an ISP can manage large scale migration and negate the need to replace end users device.
