+ What - Who – Why - When What The annual Talent Connection Event aims to create a forum and marketplace for Cisco partners and IT / NetAcad students. Who Partners looking for new talented employees and students interested to start or continue their career in IT. Why Opportunity to meet 10+ Cisco partners on 1 day, most of whom have multiple short term career opportunities! When Thursday February 26 th 2015, from 09h30-17h00.

+ Location – Student Advantages Location Cisco Belgium, De Kleetlaan 6A, 1831 Diegem Student Advantages All participating partners will be briefly introduced in the opening session. You can then learn more during the 15 min presentation slots each partner has to present their organization, their strategy, and their specific career opportunities. You will also have the chance to have a direct contact with those partners to ask all questions you may have, or discuss your career aspirations. Finally, Cisco will also have a presentation slot on innovation.

+ Student Checklist Things to Consider This is a formal business event, where you might be meeting your future employer. Please behave in a professional manner. The participating partners have real career opportunities. We expect only students who are actively looking for such opportunities to attend. Please make sure you register, and send a professional CV upfront (latest Feb 5 th ) by e-mail to ken.vanthielen@cisco.com.ken.vanthielen@cisco.com It is highly recommended that students complete an online training prior to the event. This will not only increase your knowledge level and enhance your CV quality, but will also emphasize your motivation to stand-out and improve your career chances. Partners are looking for students with at least CCNA level. A degree in higher education is considered an advantage.

+ Results 2014 – Next Steps Results 2014 Last year, we welcomed more than 200 students and 8 Cisco partners. As a direct result of this event, we had more than 20 students that were offered a position, some of them on the day itself. + How to complete the training? Step 1 – Request a CCO ID on www.cisco.com.www.cisco.com Step 2 – Associate yourself with BiASC as Cisco partner. Step 3 – Go to www.cisco.com/go/pec and login.www.cisco.com/go/pec Step 4 – Search for a training of choice within a domain of your interest. BiASC will provide a list of interesting trainings. Step 5 – Some trainings require a test to officially obtain the certification. Reach out to BiASC if interested, who has secured a limited number of free vouchers for you!
