RMIT University ©2014 University Library, Library Resources & Access 16 A LMA ADVICE Before migration: Tightly sync Verde and SFX if you are an SFX library Considering the Alma Vendor-interface -> package model, which Verde interfaces will you need? (Clean up your ebooks before you migrate) Know how your e-resources are related to each other, including license associations
18
RMIT University ©2014 University Library, Library Resources & Access 17 A LMA ADVICE After migration: Learn how to navigate Alma in a way that shows you the e-resource relationships. Tip: start from vendor, not inventory. Verify relationships before bulk loading e- resource records (particularly for ebooks) Don’t panic! It’s all fixable.
