4 Overview The Korea-Philippines IT Training Center (KorPhil) is a premier ICT training center in the Asia-Pacific Region, powered by state-of-the-art Korean Technology complemented by Filipino ingenuity. It was facilitated by a $4.3 million grant from the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to the Philippine’s Technical Education and Skills Development Authority and is Operated and managed by the Quezon City government.

5 Milestones October 2004 - Groundbreaking and cornerstone laying
April to October Delivery and installation of IT Training Equipment and other center facilities December Inauguration of the Center Jan to August Operations Management by TESDA July Deployment of Korean experts in Network and System Management, Database Modeling and Administration, Auto CAD, Java Applications Programming and 3D Animation to the center to train instructors for the center Sept 2006 to Present - Operations management turned over by TESDA to the Quezon City Government.
