Commitments Work with PSC on certification revisions and endorsement possibilities Work with GADOE to enhance school counselor evaluation processes and assessment instruments Collaborate in developing pre-service courses or infusion points for school counselors and college student affairs professionals related to college and career readiness, transition, persistence, and completion. Host a meeting for counselor educators specializing in school counseling Maintain the SREB/BOR professional development modules for school counselors as content in pre- service or as professional development opportunities Explore content and models for the creation of a certificate program in college and career readiness as part of pre-service or professional development

Commitments Host a professional development conference in February 2015 : Reaching Higher: Advocating for Social Justice in College and Career Readiness Submit a proposal to host the Evidence-Based School Counseling Conference in spring 2016 in Athens, GA. Host an Innovations and Best Practices in School Counselor Preparation Conference to be held in spring 2016 in Athens, GA. Establish a Georgia College Access Network Establish a collaborative, multi-disciplinary research network on college access, college success, and career readiness
