10 Search Tips 1.Choose a database based on the topic and your needs. Topic: Grassland Restoration Course: Environmental Science If I know nothing about the topic I may start in an All-in-One database. Then once I have some background knowledge on the topic I may also use a subject specific database such as the Environmental Studies and Policy Collection database

11 Search Tips 2. Search by Keyword and use these tips to improve your results.

12 Search Tips Hint: take a look at the features of the search box. There may be buttons to refine your search to full-text articles. This is helpful if you want an entire article and not just an abstract/summation. There are also usually buttons to limit to peer- reviewed and documents with images.
