2 CWEST - Taking care of your eyes. Everybody will agree that eye care is very, very important. Imagine losing your sight when it could have been prevented.

3 CWEST - Taking care of your eyes. On Earth there are -: 285 million visually impaired people. 246 million have low vision. 39 million people are blind.

4 CWEST - Taking care of your eyes. In the UK there are -: 360,000 registered blind or partially sighted people. However, that figure rises to 1,950,000 who are not officially registered. That is 1 person in 30!

5 CWEST - Taking care of your eyes. Imagine not seeing your friends or family, your favourite actor, a television programme or your favourite sports team? It would be devastating.

6 CWEST - Taking care of your eyes. Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) (normal vision on the left, AMD on the right).

Your finished poster needs to be completed by Wednesday, 15 October. Every student in the school is eligible to take part.
