CWEST - Taking care of your eyes. Everybody will agree that eye care is very, very important. Imagine losing your sight when it could have been prevented.

CWEST - Taking care of your eyes. On Earth there are -: 285 million visually impaired people. 246 million have low vision. 39 million people are blind.

CWEST - Taking care of your eyes. In the UK there are -: 360,000 registered blind or partially sighted people. However, that figure rises to 1,950,000 who are not officially registered. That is 1 person in 30!

CWEST - Taking care of your eyes. Imagine not seeing your friends or family, your favourite actor, a television programme or your favourite sports team? It would be devastating.

CWEST - Taking care of your eyes. COMPETITION TIME!! 22-28 September is National Eye Health Week. You need to design a poster starting with ‘Healthy eyes are important because…..’

CWEST - Taking care of your eyes. Prizes!! Your poster will be sent away to be judged by a panel of eye experts. If you win, you’ll get £50 of book tokens and £30 of Love2Shop vouchers!! Your finished poster needs to be completed by Wednesday, 15 October. Every student in the school is eligible to take part.
