16 2014 USDA Equipment Grant WI has $498,174 to distribute through the competitive grant process. Application letter to Authorized Representatives target date is Oct. 24. Application materials and reference material will be posted on the SNT website under Hot Topics and Grants. Priority will be given to schools where enrollment is ≥ 50% free and reduced AND school did not receive funds for equipment in 2009 ARRA or 2010 equipment grants.

17 A SFA may request two (2) pieces of equipment. A SFA with ≥ 40,000 students may request 4 pieces of equipment. A Summary – Writing Specifications for Food Service Equipment has been developed to aid the specification writing process. Due date for grant application is 12/19/14.
