8. © 2014 IBM Corporation 8 8 How does Centralized Agent Update work ● New agent image ZIP files must be copied in the Engine folder /deploy/agent ● Each zip contains the standard TWS folder and a.self folder containing the selfupdate script needed to run the update ● Selfupdate script execute the following steps: ● Stop the agent ● Backup TWS dir in temp folder ● Launch twsinst command that will upgrade the agent ● In case of failure, it restores the TWS dir ● Restart the agent
